I'm really enjoying my time with Pokémon Scarlet on Switch 2. It's very chill. There's not much going on in the open world but it's Pokémon, I'm here to... catch Pokémon and that's as addicting as ever. It does however take FOREVER to get through battles sometimes. We can speed these up next time.

I am red hot on this new Rune Factory. Just as addicting out of the gate as the new Fantasy Life. Plenty of reasons to sink hundreds of hours into your Switch 2 already if this genre is your thing. I am eating good.

That's a wrap on Xenoblade Chronicles X. Marvelous game, loved every second of it. Still plenty for me to do if I wanted to but 110 hours sounded like a good time to close the curtain. I'd gladly return for some post game fun if they patch this sucker up for Switch 2.

Mario Kart World's free roam is perfectly executed IMO. I'd like more unlockables than stickers for sure, but the actual act of interacting with free roam mode is such good chill fun. The music, challenges, collectibles, music, and music are a welcome change of pace from busting my balls racing.

Been having so much fun playing guitar again. Finally took nice leaps over hurdles that have stopped up my progression forever. Feels like I just entered a new zone in Xenoblade. So much to see and learn again. Playing songs I've wanted to play for years. Music is cool.

The audio visual feedback for doing anything in Fantasy Life i is pure bliss. The wood shavings when doing carpentry, the cloth being cut while tailoring, the euphoria of critting a sweet spot on a gathering node. Everything in this game massages my brain in the best way. I am in Beep Boop heaven.

Not a day goes by that I don't watch Pirate Yakuza's final dance number. It's the funniest transition in the entire series, and the amount of fun the devs were having is radiating off of it like the Sun. Game will be under appreciated during award season, like all RGG games, but what a bright spot.

Oblivion is my favorite Elder Scrolls game. I love them all, but much like World of Warcraft and FLCL, Oblivion took my teenage brain and molded it like clay. I am very excited for tomorrow.
