I'm a big fan of progressive annual taxation and tiered licensing on vehicles based on weight, size, and efficiency (l or kWh/100km). Want a big vehicle? Great. Pay for it, and be trained for it. The taxation is intended to offset the substantial social costs of large and inefficient vehicles.

One of the reasons I love fieldwork is the calming feeling of being more connected with nature. Appreciating an osprey fly noisily around her nest, ducks tending their eggs quietly on the edge of a pond, and the tiny flora found in boreal peatlands. #fieldwork
