Bitch

It plays a big role in deciding which vaccines kids and adults get routinely, what's covered by insurance and which shots are made available free to low-income kids.

SCOOP — ICE employees received an email yesterday telling them the agency's warrantless arrest policy had been rescinded. It's likely part of the Trump administration's efforts to further loosen enforcement restrictions to meet the new quota of 3,000 immigration arrests per day. My report:

The Los Angeles Police Department has stated that demonstrations in the city have remained peaceful. Let that sink in.

"The whole climate change is a sham. First of all, God controls the climate, because he controls the sun, and the sun controls the weather, primarily." -- Rep. Mary Miller It'd be hilarious except that this combination of stupidity and power has consequences

Reminder to ICE: Do not lay hands on American citizens. Video, photos, and personal information have been recorded. Actions have consequences. If you have information to share, email [email protected]. Your safety is our top priority, never forget that.

How much of a coward do you have to be - how uninformed and afraid do you have to be - to do this?

Republicans snuck an AI regulation BAN into the “Big Beautiful Bill.” That means companies like Real Page can use AI to get around price fixing laws and RAISE YOUR RENT. BUT this policy violates the Senate's budget rules. I'm calling foul — and fighting back to reject it.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but this analogy of “Lady Liberty’ held captive, is exactly how I feel about this presidency & administration and what their attempting to do with our rights and freedoms… The New Yorker captured the feelings perfectly… One word, UNACCEPTABLE!

Names people are calling #47. You know what to do, please share.

Today the Supreme Court cleared the way for the federal government to transfer thousands of acres of national forestland including a Native American sacred site, to Resolution Copper a mining company owned by Rio Tinto and BHP. The land holds deep spiritual significance for the Western Apache tribe.

All right, how do we make him go away? Dangle a dead armadillo outside his office window and lead him to an open sewer pit? Class action lawsuit for public acts of sabotage and defamation? Dead varmints, sewer pits, lawsuits AND a goddamn mob picketing his office? I think so.

What a cowardly slimeball. God, I wish Cali could get a better leader asap.

Resolution Copper is blocking comments and hiding replies from anyone calling out what they’re doing at Oak Flat. They’re trying to mine on sacred Native American land, with the government’s help, and don’t want the public to push back.

There it is. Trump confirms what we've said all along - he's been protecting Putin this entire time.

This guy stole $10 million from the employees of his nursing home to buy himself a luxury yacht and Cartier watches. He PLED GUILTY. And because his Mom gave Trump $1 million, he just got a pardon. And this story barely makes the news today. WTF. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/27/u...

Every time I see a video like this, I relate a little more to what Aaron Bushnell did. I read this little girl was able to escape, but her mother and sister weren’t 💔

In 1970 the UK and Norway were roughly equal, almost no debt, and owned all their Public Services. Now the UK owns nothing and has £3tn of debt. While Norway still owns everything and has the equivilant of £10tn. That's how privatisation 'works'.

What’s interesting/ignorant about this is that we *do do the big things here - the AI and the weapons systems. And we don’t do T shirts and textiles at scale. Once again, he has no idea how any of this works.

I’ll say it again - when *any* politician uses the ‘I haven’t read that story’ lie about something they knew they would get asked about, the interviewer has a duty to say ‘Okay, in that case I’m going to terminate this interview and you can come back when you’re better prepared.”

Performative public lying is a hallmark of far right authoritarian parties

1 in 4 is a *lot*. People are super reluctant to admit they made a mistake in voting, especially so soon after an election. 1

This guy is like one of 4 Americans who actually went and got their REAL ID and immediately they said it was a fake. Just so everyone knows when they toss your ass in a truck it won't matter what passport or identification you have they'll throw it in the street and you're gone

Uncanny…

Not great to see Medscape headlines using causal language for observational studies that explicitly don't allow causal inference. Almost certainly a common cause here rather than direct causality as implied by the headline. h/t @sanjaysrivastava.com
