Depressing day visiting mother at hospital. Her stroke and dementia - I know it's not her fault and I'm always loving and caring - I hate what this is doing to her, but I can't seem to let go of all the hateful things she says to me when I'm visiting and I feel so guilty leaving her.

@arrivanorthwest driver No.61 in Runcorn didn't let me on, 3feet away from bus stop he got stuck with a bus in front & back for 5mins & still wouldn't open door. I had to be at Whiston Hospital - he left me 3hrs panic & angina attack - I'm seriously upset & depressed I need the Crisis helpline now.

Life has been a bit strained for me recently. Mother now has to be stabbed with insulin everyday and further complications due to an infection have arisen and she will need to spend a few days in hospital. She only got out 2weeks ago - 8th of April she went in; had to cancel my birthday plans.

My WinXP gave-up after a CPU meltdown several years ago; insurance company great - refund voucher for PCWorld. Got my hard-drives back from XP and transferred data to new machine - 3months later it died - take it back for repair, got lost in warehouse, got a Win10 but that's in for the chop soon.

I'm totally exhausted - my big 60th birthday has been spent in hospital dealing with mother - why do I feel so guilty leaving her there - I wish I could stay with her - going back tomorrow to visit her - hopefully I'll get some better news then.

@georgemonbiot.bsky.social raises an important question about the corruption of the justice system. Why was not one farmer arrested for blocking roads & bringing the whole country to a standstill? Climate protesters are in prison, farmers aren’t, why? What happened to equality under the law?
