At the absolute minimum all the existing "bike lanes" in river north should also be protected like Clark/Dearborn. Why the fuck can't I travel east/west on my bike without playing frogger?

Big things are happening in the "what is a normal bike speed" discourse today. Here's a graph of our speed while riding with 50lbs of camping gear each and Tegan's bike was unable to shift. We didn't train at all for this ride, we probably ride like once a week max.
