Main riffs from 'Barbarian' by The Darkness

Some sweep arpeggios I made earlier

I need to change my perspective on a few things.

Absolutely loving this Les Paul. I'd always steered clear of a lot of classic designs and instead favoured more modern and ergonomic axes. But wow. This thing RIPS! No wonder it's endured the decades. More uploads soon...

First solo from Kid Charlemagne using the LP. Spent a good hour adjusting amplifier and effects to suit the passive pick ups. My Schecter runs a lot hotter with active pick ups so everything needed dialling up a bit.

Strangely, despite many of my guitar heroes being known for wielding Les Pauls, I never had the compulsion to buy one. I've always been into various non-Fender super Strats with my Schecter being my favourite. But wow, this Epiphone Standard Pro was definitely worth swapping the bass for. :)

Kelly: When I was flying in combat over Iraq during the first Gulf War, I didn’t expect that there was a 10-year-old kid sitting in South Africa who would one day become the richest guy in the world and call me a traitor for doing my job. Now, he kind of acts like a 12-year-old kid

Trudeau: I want to speak first directly to the American people… your government has chosen to do this to you. Your government has chosen to put American jobs at risk. They have chosen to raise costs for American consumers on everyday essential items…

Trump surrogate on BBC's Question Time absolutely floundering in front of a sceptical UK audience and being fact checked by the panel. Gives me some faith in our media at least...partially.

Crikey. Even The Daily Mail's front page called out Trump on his lies about Ukraine today. Apparently even that rag has red lines. 😂

If my government in the UK ends up bowing down to Trump and further alienates itself from Europe, I might try moving to Canada.

I'm leaving Crewe this week forever. But this is my favourite sign as you leave the town and enter into Shavington. My former favourite sign was as you entered Crewe which read 'Welcome to sCrewed'. Unfortunately, it was taken down.

www.audible.co.uk/pd/How-They-... An excellent book which, regardless of your politics, is well worth reading/listening to.

I don't quite understand what's so hard to grasp here. There was documented interference by Russia prior to Brexit. There is OVERT interference by Russia in the current US administration. Brexit continues to wreak havoc on the UK economy and Trump is bludgeoning the USA's. Isn't the link obvious?!

Some bass from last summer. I started learning in July, got bored and went back to guitar. But I'll pick it up again soon. I just love the six string too much.

www.electoralcommission.org.uk/our-guidance... Interesting. I can only imagine it would take an absolutely monumental effort to start a new grass roots political party in the UK but I do wonder if there is a need. I don't think any of the existing parties are barking up the right tree...

youtu.be/XCnImxVWbvc?... There is one answer for both the UK and USA: tax the rich.

On a personal note, I have to say I'm not having the best of times at the moment. Just have to remember that 'pain' is simply French for 'bread'...

hopenothate.org.uk/chapter/who-... This clown could realistically have a chance of becoming PM in UK in the next few years if events follow what's happened in the USA. But here's the reality:

Remember how they said they were going after criminals? That was funny.

I'm pretty much convinced that Musk's primary goal in the Oval Office the other day was to troll everybody including Trump. Fortunately, I'm also sure that this guy's hubris entirely blinds him. Come on USA allies - remove him. And Trump. And Vance. And the other MAGAlomaniacs.
