Both Louis XVI and Robespierre lost their heads—reigns of terror don’t end well for the perpetrators either….

It was never this cold when Biden was president.

It’s not like in the days of cable people wanted Comcast or Verizon to censor channels or tag clarifying information on broadcasts—not sure why people want Facebook to be censoring third-party posts or controlling user content. (Beyond actual threats, harassment, incitement to violence, etc)

If you were attorney general for the third largest state in the country, you’re probably at least minimally “qualified” to be AG at the federal level. But it sure doesn’t hurt to have the tailwinds of being nominated after a disgraced, coke-head pedophile.

Policies that appeal to most Americans: Lower taxes (other than on the top 1%) Stronger safety next—at least Medicare, Social security and FEMA (when you need it) Cheaper stuff/less inflation - all-of-the-above energy - no tariffs Don’t need autarky, but chip security What party does this?

“The fact that I can post any political take I want to here—and engage in any political discussion in depth here—but I’m worried I won’t be able to post it with dancing on an app controlled by the Chinese govenrment, makes this literally nazi germany!”

The before-and-after of Zuck capitulating to Trump is shocking.

Summarizing today’s financial news: -trailing indicator shows a fantastic economy, and largely unappreciated legacy of the last four years -leading indicator shows abject panic at the shitshow we’re about to face

“Unconditional discharge” sounds like what got Trump in trouble in the first place….

I don’t want to be too sanguine about possible acts of terror, but don’t those cyber trucks blow up on their own all the time?

Despite a controversial one-term presidency, Biden could still build himself a Carter-esque legacy if he similarly devotes himself to altruistic causes for the next 45 years.
