I was this morning years old when I learned "Billy, Don't Be a Hero" was originally recorded by Paper Lace, and that the version by Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods was a cover from later the same year. Both have their charms, but I prefer the Heywoods' version.

This episode of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea has some of the Seaview crew held prisoner in a Latin American dictatorship. Given how much of the "compound" consists of palm trees, small hacienda-style buildings & large hangar size structures I'm 99% sure it's just the lot outside their soundstage.
