Morning! ☕️👋💖🪴🐶

Ann Arbor MI Today

The surprising result for a GLP-1 pill (orforglipron) is the magnitude of weight loss in a Phase 3 trial of participants with Type 2 diabetes. For still unexplained reasons, people with diabetes lose much less weight on GLP-1 drugs than those with obesity, w/o diabetes.

If his lips are moving, he's lying. www.mediaite.com/trump/trump-...

His whole presidency (both the past and present) has been about ripping off the American people for as much as he possibly could get away with…👇 And now, there’s this BULLSHIT!

Happy Easter

Van Hollen just laid it out: “I’m not defending the man—I’m defending the rights of this man to due process.” The Trump admin admits Kilmar Abrego Garcia was wrongfully deported—now it’s doubling down with smear campaigns instead of evidence. Bring it to court or stop lying.

A President willfully ignoring a court order presents a textbook constitutional crisis. It signifies an open break in the separation of powers – the executive nullifying the judiciary’s authority. In such a scenario, the ultimate check is political: impeachment. Defying a court to would qualify.

😹😹😹😹😹😹😹 Eff U F'Elon..... youtube.com/shorts/cdv4k...

For real! 😣

At least one US president cares to denounce this attack.

Time to start impeachment proceedings. If the Supreme Court doesn’t matter, we do not have a working democracy. If we cozy up to an El Salvadoran thug, what are we?

Smote it be.......

Great question.

Congress has to impeach, the end.

A Trump-appointed judge just killed Biden’s $8 cap on credit card late fees. Banks said the rule was unfair—to them. So now we’re back to $32 penalties for being a day late. This is not about fairness. It’s about profit. And working people are the ones paying for it.

DOOCY: Deporting American citizens to Central American prisons -- is it legal? LEAVITT: Well, it's another question that the president has raised. It's a legal question that the president is looking into.

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free" Just get your ass out after 4 weeks.....

Undocumented immigrants paid an effective federal income tax rate of 5.27% in 2022. That means they paid a higher effective tax rate than 5 of the richest Americans…and a higher effective tax rate than 55 mega corporations. So let me ask you: who are the real freeloaders?

BRING. HIM. HOME. NOW.

"the president defied a Supreme Court ruling to return a man mistakenly sent to a gulag... and spoke of sending Americans to foreign concentration camps. This is the beginning of an American policy of state terror, and it has to be identified as such to be stopped" snyder.substack.com/p/state-terror

It's the Republicans that pose the largest threat to the United States www.facebook.com/share/v/15R7...

The same sort of attack that targeted Pelosi and injured her husband. apnews.com/article/josh...

HANNITY: I imagine Putin probably wants to be in business with the US and Europe. Is that a potential that could come out of this? WITKOFF: There's no doubt about it ... there's a possibility to reshape the Russia-US relationship through some very compelling commercial opportunities.

The weakening US dollar is somewhat beneficial for exports. That would be beneficial if we had anyone left out there to sell our shit to...

Sanders: He now wants to take away CBS’s license because they did a story that criticized him. Oh my word, CBS criticized him! Oh, let’s drive them out of business, how terrible… If you can’t take criticism, get out of the political process. This is a democracy

All thanks to Joe Biden! www.facebook.com/share/v/1YeP...

this is how it's done.

It's domestic terrorism...

Either the U.S. government *is* able to exert monetary and diplomatic pressure on El Salvador sufficient to produce Abrego Garcia’s release, or it isn’t. The latter would be either a bald-faced lie or a pretty stunning concession of our national impotence. The Vice President should pick one.

I would not have predicted that large universities would show more courage than either Big Law or corporate media. Good for them.
