Oddly, the Padilla video doesn't scare me. It's clearly an escalation, and awful and it does anger me, but more importantly, it makes me more resolute in doing whatever small piece I can to push back against fascism. And, while I have no proof, I think it does the same for many others.

I'd be embarrassed if I was an ICE agent. Running around in military gear and instead of detaining criminals just grabbing ordinary people. It'd be like if Batman didn't fight villains and instead broke into apartments and beat the shit out of people who might be torrenting movies.
