I think the fact that Democrats are even contesting this district helps shift the narrative, and fighting for the seat moves it even more. Not to mention the extra exposure their dreadful candidate is getting. Money and effort well spent in my opinion.

Elon coming back to run Tesla is the second worst thing that could happen to the company. He needs to get out of government, but also step down to let people who know what they're doing dead the company. All their worst mistakes were Musk's idea.
