Super Metroid isn’t just Nintendo superfluously adding the word Super to the title. It’s referring to the giant, super Metroid the baby becomes by the end of the game.

#MyTop100 #videogames 23/25 Shin Megami Tensei IV Another spooky game that I prefer over its more polished sequels/sister sequels, SMT IV is bleak, difficult, and super rewarding. The first time you beat the Minotaur you feel like you really accomplished something grand.

#MyTop100 #videogames 24/100 Resident Evil 2 (PS1) Surprise, it's the superior version of Resident Evil! To me. If you like the fancy newer one there's nothing wrong with that. The OG is still one of my favorite atmospheres in any game, tho.

#MyTop100 video games 28/100 The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages Keeping it handheld! Look at how gorgeous this game is. Capcom sure made an all timer with this one. And Seasons, which is cool too. But not quite as good as Ages.

#MyTop100 video games 30/100 Mother 3 Top 30! Mother 3 is an emotional roller coaster that hits way harder since I lost my mom in 2016. This series is all cutesy and funny on the outside (and genuinely both) but it isn’t afraid to stab you in the heart and laugh at you while you pee your pants.

#MyTop100 video games 32/100 Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney It’s difficult to choose which one in the series is my favorite, but I always come back to the original. Amazing characters, fun court cases, and that Turnabout Sisters song is top 10. Yelling OBJECTION and winning a case is so satisfying.
