For one thing, they help people who were in my spring 2015 situation (abnormal Pap smear result; colposcopy/biopsy that yielded high-grade precancerous lab results; LEEP, loop electrosurgical excision procedure to remove said cervical tissue)! 70% of sexually active USA adults carry HPV!

Planned Parenthood actually does what anti-abortion folks THINK their fake crisis clinics (who get millions in tax dollars and don’t have to follow HIPAA) do. Plus, most of what PP does is preventive care and even some acute care, which helps take the burden off ERs.
