And why not join me at Notre Dame? Amazing.

Come take the 4 metro with me from Cite to Barbès Rochechouart!

Met with my colleague Cedric Bouquet last night. We took this selfie about a decade ago and look at us now. He’s aged better than me! But it is wonderful to be in France and meet up with colleagues and friends…and cats!

One of the many reasons to love Paris: you go to dinner with a colleague and the guy at the next table invites you to a nearby basement concert near Notre Dame of a string sextet that ends up being a jaw dropping performance. Just another day in the City of Lights - and it’s just another Monday.

Abbaye Saint-Germain-des-Prés - organ concert this Sunday. When I was a kid I had a recording of Bach made here - never did I ever think I’d ever be there!

Stopped by Le Gare to hear Iranian singer Golsa Rahimzamani from Tehran. It was great (all in Farsi) (and Le Gare is a fun space near La Villette in an old train station along La Petite Ceinture.)

Another neighborhood I visited was Butte Aux Cailles, which is literally covered in small scale street art. It’s a quaint little neighborhood off the beaten path in the 12th Arrondissement - pretty cool!

Some window cat of Paris

Street art near Nationale station in South Paris is pretty cool!

I took the 95 bus tonight from Luxembourg garden and look at this view from it. Nice to see this every day on your commute!

Any suggestions for fete de La musique this weekend?

A rare Sunday treat. My first baguette and croissant in Paris (please don’t let my cardiologist know, am on a diet!) From Urban Bakery in Montmartre. @chrisinparis.bsky.social

This is point zero: the spot where all distances in France have been traditionally measured by cartographers. Cool to be for a few moments standing on Point zéro des routes de France! 😹😻

Upon encouragement of my Parisian friends, I went to the Louxor cinema near Barbès – Rochechouart. It is apparently the second oldest cinema in Paris! What a fine theater and experience! @chrisinparis.bsky.social

Take the little kiddie train with me down Montmartre in Paris! 😻🚂

Congratulations to all the graduates of Rutgers Camden, whose commencements were held this week.

Taking PATCO to Philly is a smart move!

Views from my walk home.

Need to find people to write letters to.
