I see the US vetoed the UN call for a ceasefire in Gaza. They now stand alone with Israel in support of: Genocide Ethic cleansing Starvation of children Shooting children in the head Bombing hospitals Murdering journalists Murdering aid workers They are not the good guys

‘Reduced’ isn’t ’equality.’

If you want to understand how the world works, the BBC will say "Hamas controlled Gaza" and never "convicted felon and adjudicated rapist, President Trump."

My call for an independent inquiry into the UK's role in Gaza has passed its 1st reading in Parliament. We will establish the truth over the UK’s complicity in genocide - and we will bring about justice for the Palestinian people.

The BBC is refusing to release a documentary about Gaza’s healthcare system! Sign the petition demanding they release it now! @codepink www.codepink.org/bbcgaza?recr...

We need to apply pressure on the government to intervene in the national, and University of Nottingham, crisis in funding and resultant proposed job cuts. Just input your postcode below to generate a letter to your MP uonucu.org/write-to-mp/

Members- let's show the university that we will not stand by as they announce redundancy after redundancy to fix their poor decisions regarding our financial future. Post your ballot and let your voice be heard! #StopTheCuts #FundHE

No money for people with disabilities. No money for the elderly. No money for children in poverty. Always money for war.

And the second: youtu.be/UDOsuwDeGeE?...

Ive been on hols so missed a couple of my Sixty Symbols videos being released. Here is the first: youtu.be/Vhj6MVjge4M?...

Sportwashing definite works best when the team plays nice football Still sportwashing though

players lifting nasser al khelaifi up while freddy mercury's voice belts out of the stadium speakers. fuck sportswashing

Inter are my favourite Italian team (basically cos I’ve got a mate who’s a big inter fan), so don’t enjoy seeing em get battered. Paris are a sensational team though. Easily the best the Reds have faced this season. Or maybe Plymouth

TNT sports really need to introduce a “no Rio” button.

After 33 years of people (subconsciously, actively, desperately) wondering where the iconic commentary sample in the Gazzetta Football Italia title music came from....

Men are extremely keen to explain to me that Britain *needs* a domestic steel production plant and doesn't necessarily *need* universities. Okay. Steel contributed about £1.7bn to the UK economy in 2024. Universities contributed more than £200bn.

Higher Education plays a vital role in local, regional & national economies & in people’s lives in ways that cannot be counted or reduced to a narrow financial calculus. But our work is not valued at all. Just another big pay cut for all of us alongside the irreparable damage of cuts & job losses

Spot on this from the boss. Perhaps, when the victims are on the mend, they could be the ones to present him with his awards?

I really wish I was spending the day watching clips of the parade or waiting for updates on Florian Wirtz. Instead, like all Reds, I’m praying for news that those who were injured are gonna be just fine.

Love to reds everywhere ❤️

The murders in Washington are tragic and wrong. Morally, but also politically. I believe in a Palestine free from occupation and apartheid. But this violent act will allow Israel to turn eyes away from the genocide, the starvation, and the murder of tens of thousand of kids.

Yet another pay cut for uk university staff for the Nth year in a row. A 1.4% final offer at a time when inflation is above 3%. Naked exploitation from @ucea-leadership.bsky.social using uncertainty in the sector over redundancies to low ball

Today we say goodbye to Goodison. It’s the away ground I’ve been too way more than any other. The first time was some random European game in the mid eighties. A lad in our school was well connected with the Ev and got half the class tickets.

Who made this? 😂😂😂

Well big congratulations to all Palace fans. Excellent set of supporters. Just get behind their team. Never sing Tory songs like so many other teams. Let’s all have a party at Anfield next week. You bring your cup and we bring ours

The Spanish consulate in Manchester is so crap. You ring up and the voice recording aggressively tells you they won’t answer any questions if on the website. True because no one bothers to answer phone anyway. Not sure how my 90 year old dad expected to navigate this. @exterioresgob.bsky.social

The Prime Minister imitating Enoch Powell’s ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech is sickening. That speech fuelled decades of racism and division. Echoing it today is a disgrace. It adds to anti-migrant rhetoric that puts lives at risk. Shame on you, Keir Starmer.

Why do Labour desperately want to destroy Britain’s universities? Answers on a dole slip, please

Spain, you could do the funniest thing right now...

I wasn’t at the game today but if I had been, I would have sung Conor’s name, and Stevie’s and songs abt Real Madrid. But I wouldn’t have booed Trent’s every touch cos that isn’t gonna help the team. Don’t think Slot should have brought him on, despite Conor’s booking. I hope it doesn’t happen again

My favourite Liverpool of all time is the one that makes 1-0 go 2-0 within a frenzied minute during a big game at Anfield. Always and forever.

The difference between the Arse and Liverpool. From a neutrals perspective... #LFC

Have a great Saturday folks! From Costa Del Scouse…😎

With @ucu.org.uk protesting I. London today over the crisis in UKHE, here are a series of pieces we wrote as a branch on how we got into this mess: uonucu.org/how-did-the-...
