Welcome to Pete Talks Shop! Today's talk: pedagogy in chemistry education! There's been a shift since the last time I taught chemistry, to an "atoms-first approach": students learn about atoms, then the quantum-mechanical model of the atom. From there, it's compounds, then bonding.
