Again.

I don’t do this often and promise not to make a habit of it, but just this once: WE TRIED TO WARN YOU!!!!!

This was….five months ago

www.salon.com/2025/03/15/a...

The US invasion of Iraq began on this day 22 years ago. In the years since, the United States spent roughly $10 trillion on the so-called "war on terror." Can you imagine if we had instead invested those funds in climate, health care, housing, and education?

Roses are red Violets are blue

Something to think about

OK, gonna throw this spicy bomb out there. If you're fortunate enough to have disposable income, then right now it is your duty to use that income wisely. You have agency over how you spend it and you should own how you spend it. Your decisions do, in fact, affect stock prices of big corporations.

We just wanted to take a moment to thank all our new supporters! Tomorrow, there will be more of us!

@schumer.senate.gov If you vote for cloture you are a stain on this country’s history that will never go away. You are willingly passing power to a tyrant in waiting, and you are a disgrace to every oath of office any senator has ever sworn. Your legacy will be one of cowardice and contempt.

Remember: whatever happens from here on out the Dems who vote for this GOP budget are complicit. Because they willingly surrendered the power they had to stop it. The idea that allowing what’s been happening the last two months to continue is a way to avoid “blame” is madness

They’re mocking the Dems now

Schumer’s decision is an unconscionable surrender that shows he does not have what it takes to meet this moment, and the charade he pulled yesterday makes it even worse. Time for new leadership in the Democratic Party.

The fight going on in the Democratic Party right now is not between hard left, left and moderate. It’s between those who want to fight and those who want to cave. And Team Fight stretches across all ideological aspects of the Party. Misread this at your own peril.

I completely understand Schumer wanting to avoid a shutdown - they’re destructive, and they harm a lot of folks who don’t deserve it. What I *don’t* understand is Schumer saying that Dems were unified in opposition only to change his mind a day later. He looks like a jackass.

New data from the US Treasury reveals that federal spending was $603 billion in February, which is $36 billion HIGHER than February last year under Biden. This suggests that DOGE has done nothing to cut spending.

When AOC and Adam Kinzinger are both furious at Chuck Schumer, for the exact same reason, maybe you need to give up the idea this is just a backlash coming from far left activists.

The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable. Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes. Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

The true cost of eggs is even higher than you think.

Who could possibly benefit from the Unites States being currently sabotaged by two insane buffoons?

I will never donate or volunteer for any of these turncoats again @schumer.senate.gov

Go ahead and stay silent. Let fear rule you. Watch injustice happen. Just don’t act like you did not know and accept that you are the latest in a long line of cowards who learned nothing from the past. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/we-c...

If this doesn’t anger you, I don’t know what will.

Twitter is down. Tesla stock is plummeting. SpaceX’s rocket imploded. All owned by the same guy who’s now in charge of our federal government.

Amen

Mexico and Canada should both ban X and Facebook. As well as every other democracy in the world that wants to stay in existence.

Elon Musk blew up another rocket using your tax money, it was recently reported that his failed experiments and falling satellites are causing severe damage to our ozone layer, risking the entire planet. #3E #EndAutogenocide #EndOligarchy

WE GOT THIS! Starts NOW - through the 14th. Don’t touch Amazon or anything Jeff Bezos owns.

Just a random reminder that trickle-down economics was invented by conservatives in the 1980s to justify massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. It’s been nothing short of a disaster.

NEW: former Putin adviser Illarionov says he learned of the Trump administration decision to cut off all military support to Ukraine on February 25th, before Zelenskyy's White House meeting on February 28t Zelenskyy's visit was then blamed retroactively in the March 4th announcement of the decision

Alina Habbard posted: NOTHING CAN STOP THIS MAN FROM FIGHTING FOR HIS COUNTRY. David Simon had a succinct 2-word response: “Bone spurs.”

The point was to destabilize and crash the economy. It’s not a bug. It’s a feature.

What he said about Social Security payments has been repeatedly debunked - so the question isn’t whether he’s lying about this, the question is why. What is this a pretext for? He and the GOP have long shown interest in going after Social Security. What are they going to try?

The second Trump administration is playing out exactly the way that Trump and his allies promised it would. It is chaotic and painful and cruel. It is causing devastation at home and abroad.

The question is why are Democrats dignifying by this disinformation operation by being in that room? The Democratic Leaders are complicit in this ↘️

Trump & Elon Musk are using DOGE as a get-rich-quick scheme—firing tens of thousands of workers & slashing vital programs as Musk swindles a new $2.4B contract. Musk hasn't found any "waste" in the $13B he gets from taxpayers yearly. What a surprise. DOGE is pure corruption.

If the Trump-Musk agenda is so popular, why are Republicans hiding from their constituents? Keep fighting. Keep calling. Keep showing up. Keep causing good trouble.
