Urgh I do not want to empty and clean the fridge.

Right, Airbnb: emailed, travel insurance: sorted, airport hotel in Auckland: booked. No excuse to be on my laptop any longer. Time to take stuff to the Scout Hut.

Don't love that having extremely standard anxiety/depression/ADHD x2 adds like £80 to travel insurance. Don't love it at all.

Urgh. Too much to do list.

You know, Simon Reeve has been everywhere, but he hasn’t been to Berghain.

Fridge cleaning day. Urgh. Also pack the rest of my cases day, go to the tip again day, package up a box to send internationally day, and try to buy one way travel insurance day.

My son just told me that he LOVES the new toy trucks they got at daycare. They are his toy trucks. We donated them because he refused to play with them.

living in fear that one day my kids will get into harry potter, but wary if i become vocally anti-potter at home it might pique their interest about such forbidden media. parenting is hard man

I once got a chemical burn on my tongue from a sour boiled sweet from an old fashioned sweet shop. Can confirm it is not about the most extreme because that hurts.

Urgh I always think I have no problem sleeping until I absolutely cannot sleep because my brain is too busy and I am too anxious.

Wish me luck as I try to get too many clothes into my suitcases (and all the other things I want to take)

Saw my friend, got 17 day old baby snuggles. Great afternoon.

Appreciate I am a massive non-smoker weighing in on this, but, quite literally what is so difficult about using a refillable vape?

Still to do: - Clear out bathroom products I don’t use/are old - Get rid of even more rubbish around the house - Actually pack our suitcases - Empty and clean the fridge freezer (grim) - Clean oven - Take useful things to scout hut. Tomorrow’s going to be busy.

Getting to see my work colleague and her 2 week old baby today. Excited for baby cuddles.

Buy her trash fund the fasc

Disabled campaigners watching ‘in horror’ as trans people face toilet segregation

Slightly menacing title somehow.

Just saw the cutest video of a group of beavers and cubs at the camp I wasn’t able to do absolutely losing their MINDS to Jump Around by House of Pain at the disco.

Watching Good American Family and asides from the rest of the awfulness, it has really annoyed me that somebody would say they were writing a book when a ghostwriter is writing it.

Eek. My first ever chapter proof has been sent to me. It is really, really odd to see my work formatted as an academic book chapter. Like, that's me! I wrote that!

Right, going to get a bin bag and throw out stuff that didn’t make the ship/is rubbish. Then sit down and do something else.

We’re on a last pilgrimage to the bookshops of Bath.

Absolutely outside of usual time at the moment. Did not clock that Monday was a bank holiday, or next week half term.

this is the funniest way to describe brian fucking eno

The hell with the wolves, I want to see this colossal scientist.

We’re really on the final countdown now. Need to be packed by end of Sunday as house clearance people are coming Monday. Actually a tiny bit scared now.

😡 if you didn’t realise before, this is how you know that this government doesn’t give a single shit about ‘getting disabled people into work’. It’s cuts and ableism all the way down.

This is beyond appalling and sadly also confirms the suspicion I had about policies to cap Access to Work Support based on the Welfare Green Paper. How can you claim to be a party supporting the interests of labour when you oversee decisions like this?

This is absolutely devastating. This is what happens when you cut support for disabled people in work. They can’t, then, in fact, work!
