I was in the US Army in the mid-80s during a cost cutting binge. In Basic Training, we were alloted two rolls of toilet paper per trainee. Two rolls of toilet paper for 8 weeks. That was not going to work for us female trainees. Our drill sergeants led us on raids on male barracks for more.
