Groups of lawyers have gathered outside the #LosAngeles #DHS bldg and beyond but are being kept from clients—this is illegal. Worse, groups of lawyers outside are literally chanting basic rights in the hopes detainees will hear—but #ICE blares their horns/sirens in-time w/the chants to drown us out.

He is having surgery this morning to remove embedded shrapnel. These protesters came to his rescue when he went down ❤️.

This is a consistent theme since yesterday from people on the ground in Paramount. Yes, there are crowds, there are protesters. But they are PEACEFUL. ICE began firing tear gas, flash bangs and smoke bombs once they saw people who happened to be there start filming.
