Meet Eline, a woman with a past. But in the brutal, politically-charged circles of the courtesans of Drathburg, does she have a future? Paved With Good Intentions, a World of the Rose Throne novel, is out now.

You know what's fun? Leaving your keys on your work desk and only realising it when you are standing before your building πŸ˜‘ At least I don't live that far away. Still. Traveling back and forth is not how I planned to spend my afternoon. Extra audiobooking, tho.

#ComJunity 17 Uh. I'm totally out of my depth here. I never read fanfic, I never wrote it, and I only heard about AO3 in passing... I'm sure people would come up with fun stuff. Personally, I'd like my characters to interact with T. Frohock's Los Nefilim. Or R.K. Ashwick's Side Quest Row residents.

I *think* I shared this bit before but this is the only famous I've got. Plus I love Gigi so I don't mind pushing her into the spotlight a bit. I also just changed a teeny tiny detail here that gives me a chuckle. #WIPSnips #Inkfeather

I enjoyed The Traitor God, I've been meaning to read God of Broken Things for like... 4 years now? I think? Probably about time I actually did it... But anyway, check out some reviews yourselves.

Today @bjornlarssen.com reviews FATE: Tales of History, Mystery and Magic, an indie anthlogy featuring historical fiction and fantasy stories. Out today! "You’re bound to find something to love." #BookReview #ReleaseDay queensbookasylum.com/2025/06/16/f...

My pick this week for #MusicMonday is Can't Go to Hell by Sin Shake Sin. queensbookasylum.com/2025/06/16/m...

The audiobook of my new historical thriller drops next week, with Mark Meadows reading the latest Cesare Aldo novel. CARNIVAL OF LIES is 11 hours and 32 minutes in duration, the pithiest adventure yet, as Aldo goes to Renaissance Venice! Pre-order your copy here: www.audible.co.uk/pd/Carnival-...

Always have a good stylist at hand πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Also, this is the only appearance of 'team' so far πŸ˜… #WIPSnips #Inkfeather

#ComJunity 15 Damien happens to be the lead singer of his band, Broken Luck (might change the name at one point). They are playing rock. I can't imagine him playing anything else as this is rooted in my own personality. Probably different subgenres, but that's it. I'm not even entertaining the idea

Interestingly, about 90% of the time hair is being mentioned (so far) it's either because my MCs are kissing or want to be kissing each other πŸ˜… #WIPSnips #Inkfeather #SorryNotSorry

#ComJunity 14 I like to have some already established relationships. I think it comes from my love of the found family theme, but I like it when a group of people welcome in the newcomer(s). Plus, banter/sarcasm works best within such groups. I love enemies to lovers/friends too. Again, banter!

In my dream I started having a panic attack when I realised how many books I had to pack. It's weird because 1) I sold a LOT of my books well before leaving home and 2) I left a lot of what renained at home. So I only have my old favs and the books I got in the last 5 years which is not *that* much.

Managed to squeeze in a #buddyread of Robinson Crusoe with my colleague Joz & our ramblings are now published... liisthinks.blog/2025/06/14/r...

Whenever I finish a very fiddly DIY project, I swear I wouldn't do it again. Then some time pass and I seem to forget and wonder once again why the fuck I'm hating myself so much 🀣🀣🀣 This post was brought to you as I'm questioning all my life choices. It takes my mind off of packing tho. But JFC.

#ComJunity 13 OMG. Okay, so this is in a now way exhaustive list: @alexsbradshaw.bsky.social & @nicholasatwater.com both for encouraging me to write again @benedictpaddy.bsky.social @dvbishop.com @tfrohock.com @craigschaeferbooks.com @devinmadson.bsky.social @mikeshackle.bsky.social 1/2

I'M GOING TO HAVE PURPLE FURNITURE IN MY NEW RENTAL FLAT'S LIVING ROOM!!! πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

#ComJunity 12 Ooooh. I *love* found families. Maybe because I always felt like an outsider and never quite felt like I found my tribe. As for favorite instances...here is a few I love: - Daniel Faust series by Craig Schaefer - A Rival Most Vial by RK Ashwick - The Imaginary Corpse by Tyler Hayes

You know, I could go home after work and continue packing. Or, and hear me out, I could go home and try out the two new board games I just got delivered. Whatever I should choose πŸ€”πŸ˜

Cover reveal, with art by the excellent Rebecca Frank! Firebreak is coming soon, we're in the final stretch of final-final edits now.

I started packing, tentatively - mostly just to get my mom off my back. I already hate this whole moving thing. Is it too late to change my mind? πŸ˜…

Today Bjorn reviews THE DEVIL WEARS ROTHKO, a standalone true crime novel by Barry Avrich. #BookReview #ARC #TrueCrime queensbookasylum.com/2025/06/11/t...

I haven't been writing much in a while because fuck knows. I can't really write at home. Or at work. A short if schedule worked for a while but life happened. Moving stress is bound to get me sooner rather than later and I'm thinking about rewarding myself with some writing time. This *might* work.
