What is funny about the Star Wars movies and shows is that the thing that ruined them for me wasn't a particular movie or change, even though I really did not see Rise of Skywalker, it was the fans and their constant negativity and complaining making anything different impossible.

The explosion of AI imagery online has had an odd side effect for me: it's made me so much happier to see amateur art. I love seeing art from people at various stages of experience, even when things are rough and folks are just starting out. It makes me happy, now, in a way that it never used to.

You can tell who never read the copyright screens in software. Even in the 90s, using a Game Genie and the like on your games was considered software modification and could void your warranty. Consoles have been able to be disabled for violating terms of service for a decade now. This is not new.
