I'm realising more and more this year that people read the Great Gatsby and saw the movie and still did not process that billionaires/oligarchs are bad. Yes, even that one you're thinking of right now. The fact most billionaires could donate 99% of their wealth and still be billionaires is bad.

The implications that General Froc and the Duchess (RIP) were a thing and in her absence Froc became a worse soilder and in her brief reappearance through Wazzer was enough for her to adopt poor Wazzer is sort of weighing on my mind. This really is the most sapphic Pratchett book.
