Today marks nine years since Jo Cox was assassinated by a far-right extremist, a terrible loss to those who knew and loved her and to politics. Zero lessons were learned though and the far-right continues to be pandered to. With more political assassinations in the US it all feels too familiar.

😂

FANTASTIC! "Ride of the Valkyries" is a bit on point, but I didn't mind.

It’s all in the telling.

From today, our film The Invisible Doctrine is on general release. Well, with the exception of Amazon, which has banned it. theinvisibledoctrine.com

So which MPs are receiving all of these donations from people and companies linked to the private healthcare sector….? We’ve made a graph to show you🚨👇 This is not OK- click here to call for these MP donations to be BANNED: everydoctor.eaction.org.uk/ban-donation...

“They are building a techno-authoritarian surveillance state. We can see that happening in real time. This is huge amounts of data on every single person in America that can and will be used in opaque & unaccountable ways—and it is terrifying.” Must watch interview with @carolecadwalla.bsky.social.

IT’S NOT TOO LATE for the government to change course. Keir Starmer is being advised to urgently pause the Government's plans to cut disability & health benefits by Parliament's work & pensions committee who say they should not go ahead without a comprehensive impact assessment Contact your MP, NOW

Cos the best way to defeat Farage is to agree with him about absolutely everything Tories proved this by running a 10 year experiment that left them polling at "functionally dead", while Reform are favourites to win the next election Top thinking, Blue Labour! www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Democrats seem at a loss for a punchy message that easily conveys how horrible Trump has been. How about "So far, Donald Trump has killed 300,000 people, mostly children, just so billionaires can pay less taxes"?

Everyone involved in trying to pass off that ChatGPT-extruded disinformation manifesto as a scientific report should be, at the very least, barred from public office for life. The MAHA report is dangerous criminal misconduct and an offence to the process of science.

"The UK economy has become a machine for the upward redistribution of wealth. Using Sunday Times Rich List data, the report found that the 50 wealthiest UK families now own more than the poorest half of the population combined." www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

The decline of UK political discourse in a nutshell.

Maurice Glasman says the Conservative Party has been destroyed and Labour will face the same fate unless it “moves into the space the conservatives vacated” Remind me, why are the Tories toast? Is it because they did what Labour’s doing now? Yes, precisely that. Fuck me. Are they actually thick?!

People wonder why I’m so angry at Labour. It’s because their kamikaze mission to appease the far right by being continuity Tory instead of the change they promised, is haemorrhaging support (obviously) and will result in Farage as PM. I mean, for fucks sake. Sort your shit out and stop it now 👇🏼

Channel 4 News has reported that Keir Starmer only took one broadcaster with him on his trip to Albania, guess who? GB News… What THE ACTUAL FUCK?! So they were the only broadcaster to see the Albanian PM pie him. Again, great call lads.

Buy RYADER's 'The Prisoner' , streaming now on all platforms . All proceeds go to the peaceful climate protestors imprisoned in the UK . These people are heroes , if you support them then please think about purchasing this song ! chrispackh.am/ryader

The future of AI-powered software development is here! https://github.com/Zorokee/ArtificialCast (Warning: don't stop until you've read the text below the subheading, "Why This Exists")

Starmer is simultaneously detoxifying Reform and toxifying the Labour Party. I ask again, what is he playing at?

Don’t fight him where he is strong, fight him where he is weak – the economy, the NHS, Putin, Trump, climate, and yes, Brexit www.theneweuropean.co.uk/alastair-cam...

Incredibly depressing day. I've spent my entire life being told by British governments how dreadful immigration is. New Labour did it. The Coalition. The Brexiters. Now Starmer. All of them accusing the ones who came before them of failing to clamp down. The same old vacant mean-spirited bollocks.

Right. If you want to know what's really going on, we're going to have stop falling for the spin & asking better questions. What on earth was Palantir's top UK dude doing anywhere near this? And why has neither govt revealed the sweetheart tech deal? broligarchy.substack.com/p/a-secret-u...

Labour has a whopping great majority and four years left to turn this country around. They should be setting the agenda, not chasing about trying to placate voters of a party with five MPs who will never vote for them anyway. It's not only disappointing... it's embarrassing

This is an extraordinary case, where it would seem a lawyer used AI which in turn invented five fake cases, which were then cited in submissions. Never use AI to do legal research. Ever.

This is exactly right on what the government is getting badly wrong on the politics and policy of immigration:

Just in case you thought Russia/Putin might have a point. They don't. They're the bad guys in all this: www.theguardian.com/world/2025/a...

This is Kharkiv mayor trying to comfort children who just survived russian drone striking their apartment building. Do they look like military target?

The same Tony Blair has been paid to advise oil rich autocratic states including Azerbaijan, UAE and Kazakhstan This should be included in *every* story about his net zero comments www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

It would be good if at least some of the energy poured into scrutinising hateful past comments by Irish hiphop groups could be focused on what is currently going on inside the main party currently leading all of the UK opinion polls bylinetimes.com/2025/04/30/r...

Do you think that Wes Streeting should be taking donations from people or companies linked to the private healthcare sector? ... We don't, but he has been, and he's not alone! Take a look at what's happening here...🚨 privatisation.everydoctor.org.uk Pls share so others can take a look too! 💙

Tony Blair is literally being paid by a man with one of the highest carbon footprints on the planet - Larry Ellison. The founder of Oracle is his biggest funder & these techsolutionist remarks have to be seen for what they are: tech lobbying www.theguardian.com/politics/liv...

If you think a just-fertilized ovary is entitled to life but are indifferent to what happens to a kidnapped 4-year-old with cancer, sent to a dangerous country without meds, you don’t give a fuck about the lives of children. You are just in a cult that fetishizes being against abortions.

When the BBC has become so terrified of the right wing press that it's banning its presenters from talking about heating systems, then something's gone terribly wrong

If your best argument against doing something is polling, then you have no argument.

Caught in a springtrap , right next to the pairs two unhatched eggs – this is the true story of a hen harrier attempting to breed on the infamous Leadhills Estate in Scotland . We must ban driven grouse shooting , add your name now govpetition.uk/700036

The problem with most machine-based random number generators is that they’re not TRULY random, so if you need genuine randomness it is sometimes necessary to link your code to an external random process like a physical noise source or the current rate of US tariffs on a given country.
