Anni wasn’t happy at school. She was crying in the evenings and saying she had tummy aches in the morning. Her dad went into school for a meeting. 1/

Really interesting results, highlight for me the reminder of how important staff are to address attendance issues. ‘Creating a culture where students feel valued and seen by the adults around them is protective not only against mental ill-health but also against disengagement and school refusal.’
