See, I told you ages ago that Putin would be VERY reluctant to give his troops a reason to stop fighting. They are routinely treated appallingly, and if not under constant orders to keep advancing, might just turn their attention to their shockingly cruel and incompetent commanders.

I’m no fan of the Chinese regime, but I think they’re playing a blinder in the Tariff Games. AFAICT, they are simply ignoring him. They’ve worked out that America needs China more than the other way. Even if tariffs are at insanity levels, Chinese goods will enter US somehow.

Now that the current crop of US politicians have unequivocally shown themselves to be ignorant, pusillanimous, venal, corrupt; and utterly devoid of principles, compassion, and empathy, I am glad to see a drawing-together of Europe and Scandinavia. Less fear of taxing wealth is one benefit.
