Revoking a green card for protesting is a definitive step up on the dystopia ladder. This is the point in the novel when the government supporters and middle class start going "wait a minute...this seems wrong". Will it catch the attention of enough people for that to happen in real life?

Didn't the ending of Chevron deference give DOGE/OPM even less authority to supersede Congressional appropriations?? Are there consequences for defying Supreme Court rulings or no?
