Our game is in print!

Running around the game testing some new features when I was hit by this stunning view. I couldn't be more proud of the amazing work the team produces.

New office requires new signage.

A former Gannett colleague and friend dropped by the office for a visit. She's a big fan of our game and surprised us with a gift. It's a tiny Echoes of Elysium airship in a bottle!

I'm convinced there's a Ghost of Tsushima duel happening nearby.

New screenshots were posted to our game's steam page yesterday. Without a doubt, this is my favorite.

I really enjoyed the conversation and the opportunity to play a preview of our game with Hayes Madsen at Inverse. www.inverse.com/gaming/echoe...

We launched our Airship Builder yesterday as a tool for players interested in getting a head start. Each ship can be saved, shared, and then imported into Echoes of Elysium upon release as a blueprint. Build now. Play later. store.steampowered.com/app/3269310/...

We worked with the custom PC builder Mods By Ben to create a computer case for our game Echoes of Elysium. The case was looking so good we paid for two and will be giving away one of them. Join our discord server or wishlist for details. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ev_...

A first impression from PC Gamer is a great way to bookend our trip to GDC.

At GDC and excited to be sharing a first look at airship building in our game. Stop by the Snail booth. Say hi. Happy to talk and show you Echoes of Elysium. Ask us about how to win this awesome airship PC.

I completely forgot to share that I'll be at GDC next week. I have several meetings lined up but I want to make time to connect with friends and colleagues. In the meantime, send coffee and wine bar recommendations.

don’t think I’ll ever be persuaded a restaurant needs AI to prevent itself from seating Matthew McConaughey outdoors in the pouring rain

I’m really going for the Eagles because I could use less Mahomes State Farm commercials, Kelce in anything, and Taylor Swift reaction shots in my life.

Coffee Mate. I think you may have just gross me out to the point that I will never have your product.

Thank you Fox Sports for not using overly designed on screen graphics! Classic and uncomplicated. Let’s hope this starts a trend.

I just realized I haven't posted anything here in quite some time. This is mostly because I've been heads down working on a game I'm really excited for you all to try. But for now, I'm going to link my @glass.photo page where I share my creative passion for photography. glass.photo/raysoto

Big announcement! We're partnering with Snail Games, publishers of ARK: Survival Ascended! Learn more with our recent dev blog here: https://buff.ly/3DnEmCd

Just caught the new Superman trailer. Seeing Clark Kent made me laugh for more than it should have.

Our studio is ending the year on a high note. We've partnered with Snail Games as our publisher for first game Echoes of Elysium. What a wild year it's been... I can't wait to share more! www.mmorpg.com/news/snail-g...

I no longer working in journalism, but I look forward to Nieman Lab's annual Predictions for Journalism. I find it to be a great way to see who is doing what and if broader areas of focus have changed from one year to the next. No real surprises but I am encouraged to see teams taking more risks.

I reached out to Latoya when I was thinking about leaving journalism to start what would become Loric Games. Her insights and experience inspired me to give it a try. This is disappointing news to read this morning, but I know she and the team will go on to do great things.

This is game dev humor I can appreciate.

This has been a rough year for Hamilton. While he's not my driver, I kind of want him to win next year's WDC in a Ferrari.

I’m sipping coffee as I think back on our small studio’s journey. On our first official day as a company in June 2022, we picked up the keys to our office. I chose a desk near the window. I looked down at my iPad and quickly realized we forgot to buy computers. I still laugh thinking about it.

I encourage everyone to read this story.

Final bit of work done ahead of the holiday. Closing the computer. Grabbing my camera to explore the city a bit.

Staying in Cleveland for the holiday but I still have work to do. Stopped by this spot in my search for a cozy place with coffee and a table for my laptop.

Seeing so many starter packs is turning me off from this platform. I worry that blindly following large groups of people with a click will lead to less meaningful connections.
