I of course grieve George Wendt for Norm, one of the all-time characters, but let's not sleep on how big of a fan of the Replacements and Soul Asylum he was. He talked constantly about his love of both bands. He even brought up the 'Mats when he guested on the 1988 sitcom Day By Day. I took note.
