May was a very good month for the enjoyment of my reading. ‘James’ was a reread for a book group. ‘Lolita’ was inspired by reading ‘Reading Lolita in Tehran’ last month. ‘The Other Valley’ was an impulse buy but a good one My brain is still buzzing with thoughts about many of them.

February was a good book month

One of my book groups meet outside on the village green where there is a mobile van serving gorgeous coffees and home made cakes. It is paused from December to March. Suggestions for books are made and then we vote on a WhatsApp group to pick the favourite. I’ll put up a photo when we meet next time
