Knitting instructions interpretation request: There are 39 stitches per row before Row 69. I understand "Knit 14 stitches. Slip sts. Just worked into a stitch holder, bind off the next 11 stitches knitwise" but then it says "work across remaining sts. in established pattern."

Hard to watch the City Council budget discussion when someone gets up to ask: funding for a homeless assistance obligation is being cut, so what's the plan for meeting that obligation...and the people responsible for knowing say they don't know. Almost everyone shrugs and moves forward to finish.

One of the first rooms in The Blue Prince suggested I take physical notes as I play the game. You don't know how MUCH I've wanted to play a game that benefits from note taking again! And the game style reminds me of Déjà Vu era first person room puzzle adventures. So excited!

Ranting that we're paying an extra $500 a month mortgage because the lender is estimating our annual property tax bill to be twice what it is. Only way to adjust is to get the assessor office to print an estimate on letterhead and they refuse to do that. So I'm stuck waiting on annual bill.

Okay I'll admit there are TWO reasons people are criticizing THE LAST OF US's adaptation: 1. Grown straight men not feeling attracted enough to the butch lesbian teen. 2. The same vibe as people who like later Rambo films but would hate FIRST BLOOD for having a more personal scope and less kills.
