Ohhhhhhh this is kinda retro, I like the way this came off! I can't make this my final since the base mesh needs to be edited again, but it shows I can make clothing out of the base mesh.

I think I succeeded OK in making the face androgynous enough now (by narrowing the chin area) so adding some hair (I bought a stylised hair pack because I have ~30 characters to make) did a lot!

Dept Q SPOILERS. My theory after most of episode 3 : Merrit's kidnapper is her mother, the solicitor who was ostracised by her family and community just for having her and marrying a fisherman. This'd mean the mother didn't die in a car crash, she was smart and powerful enough to fake that up.
