There's a very archetypal guy who was a very Not Operator MOS, got a DUI/DV, and was asked to not come back after doing 3 years, who then made being a fake tough guy former "warfighter" their whole personality. "You were put in for an Article 15 by the CBRN officer, BRYCE."

I'm counting that as a win.

Yo, Middle East wars aren't far enough back behind us to be nostalgic retro cool. It's like trying to bring back lower back tattoos. You need time to forget how bad some shit really is. Too soon, man.

In fairness, it seems like the IAF is doing pretty great tactically, and wars are won by good tactics overcoming bad strategy all the time... *checks notes* Oh.

All I do on Facebook is like posts by people I was friends with during the Clinton administration about what colleges their kids got into, but the algorithm is convinced I want to watch videos of women who hate other women for having bachelorette parties or wearing pants.

We really need to just stop take every bugfuck crazy cult at their word when they name themselves things like The Totally Normal Christian Church of Nice Things but believe that we need to use atomic weapons on The Gap because the shorts they sell women are too short or some shit.

Incidentally, this is also why writing about your experiences can be therapeutic. Um, so I hear.

I may be mistaken here, but my impression is that attempting this kind of thing at certain USAF installations is a great way to get liquefied by automatic weapon fire.

A lot of rock & roll epics aren't really worth the extra time, but I'm 100% down for this one.

If you're using my anti tankie lists you might want to use this one too to maximize your coverage.

Hey #battletech fans, what’s your favourite mech design?

This is the bottom line concerning USAID. Everything else is jerking off.

The canary in the coal mine for everything going wrong in the world was Black Dynamite having worse box office than Undercover Brother.

Everyone trying to rehabilitate Batman & Robin (1997) by declaring it "camp" is wrong. Good camp is fun as hell, but that movie has rancid vibes compared to the TV series.

This guy?

1973-1991: "Anything the military does might be the next Vietnam!" 1991-2001: "We can have the military do things. It's fine, and this will never change because it's the end of history." 2001-2021: *A wild history appears* 2025: "What if Vietnams are our kink, and I don't mean for the Phở?"

You can obviously criticize the Batman premise, or specific Batman stories, for having Unfortunate Implications. But asking Batman to be more like the Less Shitty Kennedy Kid's Adventures in Managing a 501(c)(3) or whatever is just jerking off.

Repeating the Qanon grift but leftishly.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, or: Songbird Ain't My Choom

At Cadet Basic Training, a piece of hot brass from an M16A1 fired next to me hit my cheek, stuck to it, and made a faint ssss sound.

Heh.

Third Operation Linebacker's the charm!

what gets me about this stupid ass shit is that Ukraine is dealing with literal russian tanks and meanwhile the president is about to toss american power into the MENA meatgrinder once again

I'm not an art critic, but: instead of a paper clip it's a beer can pull tab

Air power causing regime change [to one they think is better at fighting you than the current one]

Should we tell them?

32 years ago today. I was so dang happy to get my jump wings.
