Arriving home, I see the cat through window, laying on the sofa, knowing it isn't allowed. Opening the door for the gotcha moment, I see her on the stairs, nowhere near the sofa.. Seemingly just now hearing me, she yawns and stetches, as if waking up from a great sleep. 🤔

Good heat pumps can approach 400% efficiency these days and that's not a typo. They actually deliver more heating and cooling than energy input. That seems like it should violate laws of physics, but it doesn't because heat pumps *move* heat energy instead of creating it.
