A very fair account. A small typo on one of the Rhodriās (Rhodti). Iām very sceptical she can achieve anything, but letās see. Labour have thus far failed to seize the moment. The advisors are clearly trash - whoever Corbyn had advising him also made it into a disaster.

Always so random to see it. I have cycled the whole length of the wall and itās so hard to truly imagine what it was like. Iām glad that this is the case tbh, but the generational damage is still there, hidden from view.

The American Nationalists want a Christian Caliphate. At least they do, as long as they donāt have one.

And in the UK they will solemnly announce āPop Francis has diedā. But in the US, especially @nytimes.com they will be buoyant with a āPope Francis is dead!ā

Yes. I suppose itās a bit like the forced fun of corporate team building events. Before you know it, you too are dancing in front of Mr. Motivator.

Indeed! But that connection she describes sounds very⦠pagan. Iād have to ask myself why is this religion āhereā and what did the missionaries potentially do to ensure it was here? Often it involved stealing children.

So do I think young Brits are being more āreligiousā? No. Are young Brits seeking some deeper connection to the world and others - definitely. And I think that will only intensify as technology makes us feel lonelier.
We just need better ways to do that than the old religions.

I think many Christians themselves suffer from this also. But most have sunk costs. They have dedicated years of their lives to the act of faith - itās a lot to give up that identity.
So they paper over the crack and say to themselves, āIām being testedā.

But I think this can be found through other means. In the end, you can get involved in the pomp and ceremony, the silence and sermons, but there will also be that crack at the back of your mind.
The light that shines through to say, āthis is bullshitā.

Well yes. But also green energy produced in the UK has to be sold at the same price as the most expensive source (imported gas). Itās a joke of a system.

Bit of an odd picture to choose - someone standing in the middle of the memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe?!

Iāll have to ask the pilot to slow down! š I would have loved a pic but missed my chance. Will try to remember next time. Flown in to that airport so many times but never spotted the track tbh. Very cool though.
