Fifty years ago today, Radio 1 held a "Fun Day" at Mallory Park. This day was seared into the memory of John Peel. He recalled his experience for the Radio 1 Story documentary in 1997. If you have not seen this clip before, please watch to the very end. You will not be disappointed.
