I remember when I showed my mom "Casablanca," she knew it was some old romance film, but not that it was about two people giving up everything they want most in life in order to defeat the Nazis.

the fact that people were told “today you are going to an elementary school to lie to teachers and kidnap kids” and didn’t immediately tell their bosses to go fuck themselves is all you need to know about why ICE should be dismantled

Imagine if you were so bad at your job that you completely messed up 79% of the time. But instead of being sacked, your company sacks everyone else, and the government changes the law to give you everyone else’s money.

Beyond the theft, beyond the fraud, I worry that AI in storytelling will make us worse as people. Because since the dawn of time, human beings have sat around campfires telling each other stories as a way to share our values with each other. 🧵

If humans have a hard time distinguishing between A.I. and human, that doesn’t make A.I. better or acceptable. You can be a really great liar; you’re still a *liar.* Your expertise at lying doesn’t make what you’re saying true.

wow -- @lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com chokes up while talking about how the Trump administration is killing kids who relied on USAID to get life-saving medicine

All I wanted was a recap of Andor Season 1. I didn't expect it to make me want to cry and then storm the Bastille. Seriously, the end of this thing goes so much harder than it had to. youtu.be/VOfBli5P7fs?...

"This is like Gestapo-type of stuff, and it just blows my mind that there's a certain, certain ugly segment of the American pop population that's enjoying watching these families getting ripped out of their homes and, and you somehow think that America's gonna be better if this is done." - Bill Burr

very frustrated by the way the press would rather focus on an imaginary horse race than the real stakes of the moment youtube.com/shorts/_DfOF...

This comic is well worth your time. Every panel is bursting with the magnitude of scale. Please check it out. #art #comics #comic #webcomic #fantasy

Parents: just imagine your own daughter being attacked by a group of police for the “crime” of trying to protect her family from being kidnapped

The Trump administration really did grab and imprison a Tufts student without due process because they didn’t like an op-ed she wrote in the Tufts student newspaper. That is the entirety of their “case” against her, their own lawyers admitted it in court, and a federal judge found they violated 1A.

Incredible thread. AI is revealing what's been wrong in higher education for a long time. We should be learning and growing and transforming, not punching an expensive ticket for a better job.

I think this week's panels are some of the best I've ever painted. Ziu gets lost and has to find her way in Enoch: The First City. Read it on @globalcomix.com. It's been a minute -- hope it was worth the wait: globalcomix.com/c/enoch-the-...

“And I’m like, what do you mean, you ‘do your own research’? You running a double-blind study in your living room, dawg?” - A guy walking ahead of me with his friends on a NYC sidewalk in 2021, also my favorite overheard dialogue of the entire pandemic

Gotta love these AI simps constantly misrepresenting why people hate this technology It’s not just because it currently sucks It’s because it’s very existence is based on a crime

One of the most shocking things I have read for a while: t.co/lg46ijHLDF

“He has simply disappeared,” said a friend. “I have not heard of a disappearance like this in my 40-plus years of practicing and teaching immigration law.,” said one law prof. “This case represents a black hole where due process no longer exists." www.nytimes.com/2025/04/22/u...

Rough sketch from last week.
