I'm not even sure that would change anything. Everybody knows what's happening in Gaza.

United Utilities releasing sewage into Lake Windermere using a permit that has not been updated in more than 30 years. Fraud - customer pay for proper sewage disposal. companies dump it in rivers/lakes. Govts/Ofwat let water companies boost profits by fleecing people. archive.ph/dYjct

The New Republic is doing it right. Journalists take note

#EmbarrassmentInChief 🤮

The public have the right to know.

I've signed up to run a Half Marathon in May for Scottish Refugee Council! Exciting!! 😃 There's 5k, 10k, half marathon & marathon options available, too... & sign up is free! We're getting a big group together to raise awareness & funds to support refugees this year! Who wants to join us? 😃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Starmer deepens NHS privatisation. Can increase NHS capacity by buying private hospitals. Plan won't generate new health staff. Private sector will poach NHS staff. NHS to be a shell, doling out contracts to private sector. 30%-40% money will vanish in profits. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Despite what politicians say, in my experience NHS patients aren’t bothered about ‘choosing their healthcare provider’. They just want their local NHS hospital to function properly. But guess who loves it? Private companies seeking to infiltrate the NHS🚨 …

FTSE 100 CEO gets more in less than 3 days than average worker pay for a yr. Median CEO pay £4.22m, 113 times average worker. Nothing to do with performance. Shareholder objections ignored. Need worker-elected directors on boards. Let workers vote on exec pay. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

CARTOONS OF THE DAY 🫤 (Cartoonists are rallying around @anntelnaes.bsky.social as she leaves the @washingtonpost.com )

Hard to believe, but here we are.

A nightmare for who?

They need to be prosecuted with executives facing prison sentences. Just disgusting www.theguardian.com/business/202...

The Judge overseeing Luigi Mangione's trial owns millions of dollars in stock, including in Unitedhealth. Surely this is enough to get him kicked out?

Should billionaires and corporations be banned from buying political parties in the UK? Like if yes. RP if it's HELL YES.

it's happening truth to power matters and we are the power!

King Charles who loves killing foxes, birds, and badgers has been made Patron of the RSPCA. King Charles used his power to block a ban on Fox Hunting and to make sure it is the joke ban we currently have. RT if the RSPCA should remove him.

Spanish Govt owned Navantia close to £70m purchase of shipbuilder Harland & Wolff. UK Govt opposes state-ownership but happy for other states to own UK industry. Major industries foreign owned. City of London prefers speculation to industrial investment news.sky.com/story/navant...

RP if you agree with this. ❤️🇳🇴

At its peak in the 1980's the US Mafia was making between $50-90bn a year. In 2023 the Health Insurance Companies made $88bn in profits, and this was after tens or hundreds of billions in bonuses, CEO wages, and share buybacks. All for simply denying people care.

I’m hearing from a lot of Americans right now, who are telling me we should fight to preserve the NHS. Which we know, right? We’re going to have to fight for it, because corporate interests and think tanks and politicians are dismantling it right now 🚨

Nigel Farage is owned by Elon Musk, and Elon Musk is interested in the UK because he can privatise our healthcare and make $800bn a year profit. That is double his current net worth, every year. Nigel Farage is the most sold out, corrupt puppet of the lot.

This article is about “NHS in-sourcing”-private companies are allowed to take on NHS work by using NHS facilities+NHS equipment+ often hire NHS staff in their time off. It should *not* happen-Starmer should end privatisation, pay NHS staff properly for working for the NHS & stop punitive tax rules!🚨

💯

Crazy, isn’t it?

What the hell are we even doing? Normalizing & green-lighting another psychotic madman. That’s what we’re doing. It’s f’ing insane.

The fact is that the USA spends 3x more per person on Healthcare than any other country on the planet. Yet it doesn't have best healthcare. It has the worst in the developed world, and that is because Health Insurance companies and Big Pharma are stealing all your money.

The USA spends $4tn on Healthcare. The Health Insurance companies made $1.39tn in profit last year. That is 35% of your Health Insurance payments poured straight into their pockets.

UK exported 8,500 tonnes of pesticides that are banned on British farms because of the dangers they pose to human health and nature. Profits prioritised over people, with full approval of the state. Today someone else, tomorrow it will happen to you. unearthed.greenpeace.org/2024/12/08/u...

If you agree with me that *all* politicians need to be held to account, regardless of their party, please could you repost this and follow me? I’ll follow you back! I campaign for the NHS and I’m looking for my people! 🤞💙🌟

Private equity sharks cash in on foster care. Just three made £40m profit from the plight of vulnerable children. Foster carers paid £7.50 an hour, treated as self employed, denied workers' rights, rely on benefits. Privatisation delivers exploitation. www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/market...

Anglian Water fined £300,000 for dumping raw sewage, killed thousands of fish, endangered human health Serial offender. 128 criminal convictions since 1989. Since 2010 fined 75 times, £3,952,134. Companies want higher bills, lower sanctions End the privatisation circus www.itv.com/news/anglia/...

Sickening hypocrisy.

PFI blighted public purse/services. Govt guaranteed corporate profits. Example: private sector invested £40m in the NHS, repayment £1.1bn, less spent on healthcare. Cheaper for the govt to borrow, can do QE for public services. Streeting wants more PFI. SAY NO. weownit.org.uk/tell-wes-str...

A fool is easily parted from their money. But so is everybody else in a system which has given water, energy, housing, public transport, banking and everything else to thieves who constantly demand more money.

Castle Water bids £4bn for control of Thames Water. Private equity also interested. This is money from A to B, not into infrastructure. New buyer still wants high customer bills, dividends, low investment. Only nationalisation can end profiteering, solve crisis. www.mirror.co.uk/news/busines...

The Brexit Curse British food exports to EU ‘have fallen £3bn a year since Brexit’. Border checks, lower standards on pesticides, veterinary drugs, animal welfare make UK exports harder. Brexit costing UK economy about £100bn a year. Rejoin EU. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

England water firms push for higher shareholder returns. NO. They picked customer pockets for years, paid high dividends, neglected investment. They charged for sewage disposal, dumped it in rivers. Customers due a refund. Let them go bust. Nationalise. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

NHS funding per patient is now more than 6% lower than in 2010. The NHS does not have 'more money than ever' as is constantly repeated. This is a lie, RP so everyone knows.

Mick Lynch "Nigel Farage is a racist." RT if Mick is right.

Nigel Farage has 3 full time bodyguards paid for by you the taxpayer. I don't think this is an expense we can or should afford, and certainly not without knowing exactly how much, or who to.
