I haven't visited the other place in months and I've just deleted the app from my phone. It felt good.

The VE Day flypast came close to where we live today. We went and found a nice spot nearby (along with about 150 other people) where the aircraft went diretly overhead!

Today I finally retired my trusty desktop PC, an aging Dell Studio XPS. It had a failing power supply, the on/off switch stopped answering to anyone long ago (replaced by 'the big red button') and the fans would go mad at the slighest provocation. But after 16 years, I don't think it owes me much!

Very peaceful at Shingle Street this morning.

Blustery day at Shingle Street

I think I might create a starter pack of starter packs. Or would that break the servers?

Beautiful Shingle Street this morning.

I never posted in the old place - I was always in listening mode. But the interesting voices went away and the noise levels went up. This feels like I've transported back to a better time.
