🧵 I started a series of drawings about family & friends & let my subconscious take over, it ended up each one was about my relationship with the people in my life. This one is about my big bro. Big Brother (2025) | Original pen & ink on paper drawing by Robert Bohan [1]

🧵 It’s currently raining cats & dogs in Dublin. But shouldn’t it be raining fish? Certainly I’m all about this as you can see in this selection in the thread! Fish fascinate me for breathing underwater, having shiny scales & not minding a bit of water! We all need fish in our lives! [1]

Great to see my Bird in Flight (2023) has landed in England.

🧵 I love puffins & drawing them reminds me of the happiness I experienced when I used to help conserve Atlantic ones! Puffin Couple (2025) | Original pen & ink on paper drawing by Robert Bohan [1]

This week’s Friday treat is a great example of a Robe à la Polonaise, French, 1774-93. More here via The Met: www.metmuseum.org/art/collecti...

For those who want it in simple terms, one of the people in charge of ensuring the UK respects human rights for everyone has said some people should accept having fewer rights.

I remember, 10y ago talking about how groups were pushing fascism & Queer ppl were scared of a return to the politics of 1930s. I was told I was being ridiculous. It’s 2025, the US is a fascist regime & UK officials are telling trans ppl they must accept having fewer rights. #NeverForget

[1] I find these media ‘debates’ about rights deeply distasteful & dehumanising. Minorities lives are not a debate & are protected by the European Convention on Human Rights or the UN convention. These ‘debates’ operate in a vacuum.
