So-called “conversion therapy” is torture and has no place in our commonwealth. HB495 not only legally protects it, but guts Medicaid for thousands of marginalized Kentuckians. The General Assembly’s passage of HB495 is emblematic of what happens when LGBTQ+ people are denied a seat at the table.
