I'm still very much in the phase of my art where I feel the need to include the whole body as anatomy and proportion practice (and it kills me when part of a limb is just straight up not visible) But I want to find a way to transition to doing more poses where part of the body is just out of frame.

Yorick handles his students differently. Good students can become one of his TAs (“toe aide” not “teaching assistant”) where they learn lots. The bad students get a much more… “foot-in” approach to their punishment. He believes they can be saved, they just need to be under someone who is better.
