For all of us marketing professionals (especially those of us around for the early days of HBO), who said it was insane to give up the massive amount of HBO brand equity, I want to know what this dumb rebranding whiplash cost the company (and passed on to consumers.)

The optional lightweight package.

There is no better drink in the summer than a g & t with high quality gin and high quality tonic.

For my fellow gin lovers, this is my favorite. Sadly it’s not available in the US, so I’m savoring this bottle. So smooth, no tonic needed.

With the ongoing air travel crisis at Newark, would love to get your perspective on what needs to be done. @petebuttigieg.bsky.social

I've finally moved on from Alpha's vaporware.

If you aren’t watching The Studio on AppleTV, I highly recommend. It’s funny AF, the cast is great, and the cars are excellent. But the cinematography is brilliant. Check out this continuous shot. Watch the cameraman in the trunk. www.instagram.com/reel/DJMf6fm... www.instagram.com/reel/DJMf6fm...

At $14,500, this seems really cheap, no? bringatrailer.com/listing/1972...

Aaron Judge’s batting average is now 427.

A terrifying warning from the CEO of a consumer products company about what is about to hit the economy from Trump’s tariffs.

The design and manufacturing of the Slate truck are interesting, but perhaps we should look at this as a market research experiment to see what American carbuyers will really go for www.telemetryagency.com/post/slate-s...

The more I see/hear of the Slate pickup, the more I like. Sizewise, filling a need for those of us who want an actual small pickup. Nice 80s era mini truck vibes ('82 Datsun for compar.) Minimalist approach & color impregnated body with a dizzying array of personalizations options is really smart.

How I arrived on Bluesky.

Finally got the S2000 out for its first drive of 2025 yesterday. Wifey and I took back roads up to Washington Depot for lunch, book store browsing and a hike. Over the winter I had the chipped valve cover refinished so all is looking sharp. I love this sucker.

For those of us of a certain age, check out A. J. Baime’s excellent article in your latest AARP mag.
