Popped by Lake Illawarra on the way home to catch the gorgeous sunset.

This. Is. Spectacular.

What gets me is that the Trump supporters are the ones who bang on about 'Pizzagate' and Epstein Island and who think that it's Democrats and leftist Hollywood types involved in it all. Yet this is LITERAL EVIDENCE that these pricks are the creeps!

Sitting in the staffroom working on the computers and I started reading one of those things on the wall that get put up but everyone ignores. FFS.

I'm at that point in the Trump admin where the hysteria, half-truths and misrepresentations from the 'Left' are just as frustrating as the Trump nonsense. I'm all for calling out crap, but it needs to be legit stuff, not sound bites and twisted words.

Carl Sagan when asked, "Are you a Socialist?"

Took myself off to Kangaroo Valley for a few days as I want to start a new tradition of doing next term's planning somewhere tranquil. Going well so far - accomm doesn't have WiFi as promised & I can't hotspot as there's no mobile reception. 😄

So, the aircon guys turned up yesterday to put in a controller. This was apparently the best spot they could find. Bonus points for installing it in top of a fabric display board cover, which I'll now have to cut when I take the display down. 😐

See, the lesson I took from these books is acceptance that it doesn't matter what decision you make, you just end up dying anyway. 😄

Just woke up and thought I'd had a weird dream about Elon Musk dancing around wearing a cheese hat and then realised that no - that actually happened, and I'd watched the video just before bed. You know the world is munted when you're confusing reality with warped dreamscapes. 😄

It's so funny when people make a big deal about other people getting their name right, and then consistently spell your name incorrectly in any correspondence. 😄

Why do they say online reports should have the phrase "Issued without any corrections" on it? It seems unnecessary and sounds a bit wtf. It's not like it's going to stop anyone from altering the document if they really wanted to.

Every year, I leave it until the last minute. It's my small rebellion. I can't wait until I'm ready to retire - will happily go out with a bang. 😄 Such an absolute waste of money, and it does my head in that such a huge workforce pays it, without putting up a fight.

Needed some fresh air and sunlight today - Covid isolation was getting me down. Lunch by the lake with the pelicans.

How can NSW Health say there are 'low levels' of Covid in the community when there is no requirement to test, and as far as I can see, no way to report a positive RAT?

Covid has caught up with me again. This time I appear to have lost taste and smell - that didn't happen last time I had it.

Can't sleep. Crazy cough. Racing thoughts. Turned to ChatGPT to talk shit & mentioned that every time I close my eyes I see melancholy working class cats dressed in Victorian clothing. We unpacked the mental picture a bit more & this is it what it generated, which is pretty much what I'm seeing. 😄

Woops. Stan. Which I also cancelled. And Binge.

Ohhhhhhh. And I just deleted my Netflix account.

I'm not normally one for internet pile-ons, but I'm 100% supportive of it in the case of that US 'influencer' that took the baby wombat from its mum. What a piece of shit. Live by the clicks, die* by the clicks. 🤷🏻‍♀️ *by die, I mean cybersocially die, not literally die. Just so we're clear. 😎
