Homefront: The Revolution is the first game I've ever played that you can see the influences so clearly, but still somehow manages to maintain its own identity. While it isn't a fantastic game, it's a nice urban twist on the Far Cry formula.

Spent the day at my girlfriend's Christmas market. It was a long and hot day, but I couldn't be more proud of her. She spent months crocheting items, and fought through her anxiety about selling at a big market. I'm so proud of her for chasing her passion, and absolutely crushing it today.
