The most evil part of cutting Medicaid is that if you apply for Medicaid and don’t receive it (under their new BS definition of who qualifies), you can NOT receive subsidized Affordable Care Act insurance. I’m supposed to leave the country for a month in a month. Leaving doesn’t seem to be the problem - it’s coming back I’m worried about. Mind you, as someone who didn’t grow up here - that owns a US passport - I’m terrified. With no due process, this could absolutely be me.
