For reference: Procedural generation is shuffling a deck and dealing from it. genAI is feeding every card deck you can find, including ones not for the game, into a wood chipper, slapping a handful of the bits on some glue, and pretending its a playable hand.

Heads up if you have Microsoft 365 (learned this from work) They are auto enrolling people in their new model that includes AI with a price increase. You have to go in and select "cancel subscription" and then switch to the "Classic" one without AI (which is apparently only limited time??)

heads up! if you have any logi+ tech and you have allowed it to update, check your task manager. it installed an AI prompt builder that runs in the background on the dl and i am MAD about it. end process and delete the folder it sits in and you should hopefully be good.
