Local fed Labor MP. 2nd term now, upped his margin from 1% last time to 10% in what was blue ribbon lieberal seat. Just came walking past after buying a takeaway lunch at a local cafe. That is a big part of his charm. Not a rockstar, just a quiet achiever. We've had our fill of rockstars here.

Relieved Dutton’s out? Handy reminder: Albanese’s Labor government is, at best, complacent, at worst, complicit in Israel’s genocide. Gaza is being bombed, starved, ethnically cleansed. Voting out morally bankrupt leaders isn’t enough—we must still hold power to account for the most vulnerable.

Went to vote this morning, my name not on the role.AEC guy suggested I had failed to update something. Same birthdate& gender. This address 40 yrs,Phone 25 yrs, licence 58 years. Alter what? Was voting in the local school hall where my name (1968) was on the honour roll right behind him.
