Had a wander down to Stockbridge Market this afternoon. Teeming with people in the main street. Then had a wine in the Cumberland Bar outside garden which is really lovely. Much cooler today though.

Fabulous and delicious lunch at Three Birds in Bruntsfield, one of my favourite places in Edinburgh. Service and ambience spot on. The vegan Bakewell mess for dessert was so yummy.

I’m a glutton for punishment, watching The Handmaid’s Tale from beginning. “When they slaughtered congress no one woke up, when they suspended the Constitution no one woke up, but they said it would be temporary”. Utterly terrifying.

Had a gorgeous late lunch at Ka Pao just now. Delicious food, wine and chocolate dessert. Even better when we met our local coffee shop puppers on the way home and had cuddles.
