The media keeps trying to understand Trump's fixation on tariffs. In doing that, they normalize him. Allow me: 1. He likes how tariffs make him feel: he bullies, imposes his will, makes threats, removes threats, plays God. 2. He likes that new $ goes into the Treasury which he sees as going to Him.
